Our First Auction

Have you been part of on auction before?
A couple weeks ago a friend of mine sent me a link for an ongoing auction. Scrolling through hundreds of furniture, glass- and silverware I got Brian hooked on it.
The auction closed at noon on Thursday and we were highest bidders for 13 items.
What are we going to do with all of those furniture was my question. We haven't even closed on our cabin yet.
On Saturday we had to be there at 10am to pick everything up. Thankfully we had another helping hand with us and a U-Haul to get all that stuff home. We got there right on time and were number three to go into the house to pack up. What we didn't know is that only two buyers could go in at the same time. The line got longer and longer. Lucky us for being there so early.
Here is all the furniture we got.
2 twin beds including mattresses and bedding for 35$ each
1 Sowing table with a very old singer machine a bench, fabric and lots of thread for 11$
1 coffee cart for 40$
1 secretary - isn't it beautiful? This was the highest we paid for with 300$
3 dressers, each 40$
2 night stands for $30
I'm thinking of painting them grey..
2 wicker chairs plus small table for 30$
I already painted them black
I think we did pretty good. Now we only need homes for all those items.
